Swapping the LAN and WAN ports.
With Netspot, you can easily swap the LAN and WAN ports, through which you get a switch. A classic Netspot device consists of 4 LAN (Yellow) and 1 WAN (Blue) port. If swapped, you get 4 WAN (now Yellow) and 1 LAN (now Blue) port, which can then be used for the connection of other network elements, without limiting the functionality of either ports. Through this, you will solve the lack of LAN/WAN ports on the device to which you are about to connect Netspot.
How to swap LAN and WAN ports
Warning! We strongly recommend to first connect Netspot to the root and then you swap the ports, after which you plug in the network cable and other necessities.
